Meryl lives in Cowies Hill (near Durban) in beautiful KwaZulu Natal, South Africa. After leaving school she studied Home Economics, which she taught for seven years. She has been married to Ray, her best friend & own in-house IT consultant for nearly 30 years. They have two daughters - Raewyn (24) who is living at present in Dublin, and Kate (28) who married to Marc, and Mum to their first grandchild, Josh who is now one!

Sitting with a pile of wedding photos & doing a search on the internet on "Scrapbooking" led her to the discovery of Computer Scrapbooking in late 2002 and very quickly became addicted. She uses Photoshop CS (a Christmas gift from Ray) which she is totally in love with! As she works from home (in a direct selling company), with no boss watching, , it is a constant battle of wills not to just scrap all day! Her scrapping style changes with her mood - sometimes its very digital, sometimes paper style. She has won several contests & is due to be published in My Reflections and Threads & Crafts.

She and Ray are very enthusiastic caravanners - at least once a month they may be seen setting off with their comfortable little house on wheels behind them. She is the editor of the club magazine - The Flysheet, which is gradually filling with more & more photos & layouts. They also enjoy holidaying in the wild, every year making use of the timeshare at beautiful Sobhengu on the shores of Lake St.Lucia, a World Heritage Site.

Apart from scrapbooking & photography her hobbies are cooking & sewing, both of which are having less & less time spent on them....

(What Customers are saying about my products)

Winter Wonderland
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Yes, there are some wonderful winter elements in this kit, but there are so many elements and pieces to this kit you can't just limit yourself to winter. Most of these can be used year round - I see red, white and blues and a gorgeous silver metal mesh mat and a full silver Alpha. Should be called Winter WOW!"

Feminine Denim
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This is definitely a must-have kit!! Although the name calls it feminine, it can easily be used for boys as well as for any general photos. The papers and mats are just awesome and the lace alone is worth the price. Pieces from this kit can also be easily combined with other kits and I can see it as something that can be used over and over again."

Charming Garden_Victorian Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This kit lives up to its name - it has charmed me. Perfect for heritage photos and beloved family photos."

Black Magic Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Meryl, this is a wonderful kit and I am using pieces of it in my NKOTB round 2 submission. I love the contrast of black and white with a splash of red. Thanks for your creativity."

Fantasy Landscape - Happy NooNoos
[5 of 5 Stars]

"What a fun kit!! I've completed 2 pages using this and the Pretty Basics Page Kit. They are perfect for scraping my grandson. The colors are wonderful and there are so many ways to use the pieces of these kits. Meryl is, hopeully, working on more in this series. These are great kits for complete a whole album!!"

Granny's Linen Page Kit
[5 of 5 Stars]

"This kit is full of wonderful "materials". It's like walking into a fabric shop where you can't stop your fingers feeling the textures. The lace-like embroidery is so pretty. You will definitely not be disappointed with this kit."

Airmail QuickClick
[5 of 5 Stars]

"I have to say I love this quick click... not just for the page you can create with it, but for the pieces you can pull out for other pages. I use it a lot, in one way or another. Great QC, Meryl!"

Silver Charm Alpha
[5 of 5 Stars]

"Love this alpha. Love the fact that you included both upper and lower plus the numbers to the kit. I used the freebie basic kit by Valeri Brumfield found in the freebies section to mount the letters as I needed a brad. I plan to erase the rings for more use. There are many possibilities here. Thanks Meryl for such a great product."
